Abrasion Resistant Plates
Abrasion Resistant (AR) plates are steel plates intended for applications where resistance to abrasion and heavy impact are imposed. Also known as wear resistant plates, these plates have a hardness of up to 600BHN with good weldability and ductility properties.
Applications:
- Dump truck wear liners
- Earthmoving buckets
- Cutting edges
- Storage bins
- Screw conveyors
- Liner plates
- Chutes
- Feeders
- Crushers
- Presses
Plates Availability:
-
Grades : 400BHN, 450BHN, 500BHN
-
Thickness : From 3mm to 50mm
-
Dimensions : 2,438mm x 6,096mm (We accept cut to size requests)
Chromium Carbide Clad Plates
A Chromium Carbide Clad plate is composed of a mild steel base plate overlaid with chromium carbide to form an extremely wear resistant compound material with superior hardness and durability. Hardness ranges from 600-750BHN. It is ideal for environments with high pressure sliding abrasion and elevated temperatures.
Applications:
- Wear plates for draglines
- Chutes
- Hoppers
- Presses
- Earthmoving buckets
- Skid plates
- Crushers
- Discharge cones

Structural Steel Plates
High performance structural steels are low alloy, high strength steels that have a yield stress multiple times that of carbon steel whilst featuring excellent weldablity, formability and notch toughness. These steels allow for reductions in section thickness without compromising structural integrity.
Applications:
- Induced draft fans
- Storage tanks
- Overhead cranes
Plates Availability:
-
Thickness : 6mm, 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 12mm, 16mm, 20mm
Armor Plates
Quenched and tempered armor grade steel plates are used in various security and protection applications where there are requirements on light weight, high hardness and resistance to ballistic projectiles.
Applications:
- Cash-in-Transit (CIT) vehicles
- Civilian vehicles

Stainless Steel Plates and Shafting
Stainless steels possess superior corrosion resistance and excellent formability that make it very versatile and useful in numerous applications and industries. Depending on the grade, stainless steels can have abrasion resistance and high strength properties and can also perform in both high and low temperature environments.
Applications:
- Food handling, processing and production
- Chemicals storage and transport
- Heat exchangers
- Mining equipment
